Can I use a Samsung monitor to work with Mac Studio?

I'm thinking of getting a 34" Samsung monitor to work with Apple studio. In the description of the monitor it lists only windows. The resolution on the monitor 3440x1440. will this be a problem? Will I be able to adjust settings on the monitor if need be?

Thanks

You can use a standard 4K HDMI cable to connect the monitor to your Studio or if your HDMI port is in use a USB-C to HDMI cable or adapter. 8k cable is not needed and would be a waste of money. I have 2 Dell 34s that are the same resolution as your Samsung, one runs off the HDMI port on my Studio and the other uses an HDMI cable connected to an Apple Multi-port adapter USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Education - Apple

and both work fine.

Yes you can use HDMI and it will work. But sadly, HDMI is limited to 1080 and does not truly support higher wide screen resolutions.

We've seen cases were two cables are necessary to access all of the Displays features.

A premium 8K USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable for the Video connection.

Plus a USB-C cable for sound output and the downstream USB ports.

At this point you should chat with Samsung support to see with have to say and promise.
