Universal Control, Full Keyboard Access and the dreaded Blue Box.

I love using my iPad in tandem with my MacBook using Sidecar and Universal Control, but there is one long glaring issue that needs to be addressed.

For whatever reason, with Full Keyboard Access disabled the iPad doesn’t recognize Shift key inputs making it impossible to capitalize letters or type sub-inputs for other keys, so without this feature enabled, using the iPad alongside the MacBook can be extremely irritating.

The issue is that, with FKA enabled, a blue box appears around text fields and other random areas of apps and websites that FKA is recognizing as text fields. It’s extremely messy, distracting, and unnecessary for someone who just wants to use the Shift key properly.

I know others have noted this issue, but it’s time Apple address this issue in a software update. Hoping this thread gets traction so they see this and do something about it. I’ve also sent feedback directly to apple and hope other will do the same.
