How Do I to Stop E-mail Follow-up Reminders?

Sometimes Mail shows me emails from my Sent folder in my Inbox. I don’t want Mail to do this. It’s annoying. I have enough email to look at without Mail showing me more from my Sent box. I want to turn this feature off.

You can disable Mail follow-up from iPad's Mail settings:

Settings > Mail > Follow-up Suggestions - set to OFF

Thanks, but I already tried that, and today, I opened Mail and found another email from my Sent folder staring at me from my Inbox. I don’t know if this is a bug or what, but it should have stopped it. I guess it’s possible, if I sent that email out before I turned off the Follow-up Reminders, that reminder was still set. I don’t know what else to think other than that the shut-off switch to that feature doesn’t work.
