optimized battery charging not working

I'm using MacBook Pro under Sonoma 14.3.1. I have to use it with Studio Display so MacBook's powers source is Studio Display. Optimized battery charging not working so it always fully charging as 100% How I can fix this issue?

I tired turn off Optimized battery charging set and plug out of Studio Display c-type cable and restart MacBook and turn on the setting and plug in cable but still doesn't work.

I also checked privacy& security-Location services-system services but doesn't work.

what should I do for it?

This is exactly the issue I have. MBP, running latest Sonoma, purchased September 2023. Battery life was INCREDIBLE until the first and second week I bought and used a Studio display. Immediate drop off in battery life. Now three weeks in of regular use, the optimized charging feature still doesn't kick in. Always on and fully charges to 100%.

I called support (twice) and they walked me through some steps that helped one of the two times, and temporarily. Stopped working again and repeating the troubleshooting steps have not worked since.

Googling the issue it sounds like others have the same thing in general but especially with external displays that charge. I don't know if that has to do with it?
