why doesnt my apple tv have FaceTime?

I recently purchased a brand new Apple TV 4K from best buy and I checked and it is the 3rd generation version, but it didn’t come with FaceTime on it and I’m so confused.

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 16

To see the FaceTime App the box will need to be updated to TV OS 17.

Use FaceTime on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later) - Apple Support (CA)
