The iCloud app for windows keeps crashing when I try to log in.

The iCloud app (latest from windows store) for windows keeps crashing when I try to log in. I get as far as the 2FA, the app tries to authenticate, then just closes. I have the latest version installed. I’ve tried repair, reset and uninstall/re-install, running as admin, disabling windows defender and windows is up to date. Anomalously after the app crash, Apple sends the 2FA prompt to my phone again. I can & have logged into iCloud in edge and it works fine. I’ve also had my iPhone close to and also connected to my PC via Bluetooth, cable and it’s on the same network. My network also has no flaws and is fast enough.

One thing I’ve learned is that waiting about 20-30 seconds before putting in the 2FA 6 digit number prevents the crash. Keychain still doesn’t work though.
