Mail - Lost Signatures & Rules on my Mac Pro

Running Monterey 12.7.3 on my MacPro (Late 2013) (Unable to install a later OS on this Mac)

Mail v 16.0

All my Rules disappeared along with 4 Signatures

Unable to recover.

Re-installed the MacOS using Recovery Boot ( Restart - ⌘ + R)

Had to recreate the Rules & Signatures

2 weeks later, both Rules & Signatures disappeared again.

As Mail is included in my iCloud backup, Rules & Signatures also lost on my MacBook Pro.

Any way to prevent this from recurring?

Start with this...

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Try one of these two…

You can use Drive DX to possibly get a better view of Drive health…

Thanks to Jack-19…

It may be wise to run SMART Utility to check the drives' health.

Update:

After Safe Reboot followed by normal Restart, I opened Mail --> entered a new Signature

Closed & reopened Mail --. New Signature had disappeared.

Entered new rule --> entered new signature --> Closed Mail --> Reopened Mail --> both new rule & signature disappeared.

This has to be MacOS or Mail bug. Did not open Clean My Mac or any other app.

Appreciate any guidance.
