Face ID not working after update and face ID reset, can you help?

Same here! FACE ID doenst work anymore after updating to 17.3.1 (iPhone 13)

I tried every single step from If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

NOTHING helped.

I also did a factory reset, installed everything again. FaceID does not work anymore: Always: PUT FACE INTO FRAME error.

Camera works perfectly! it's a problem of the update!

STep 9 get service or contact Apple support, since you said you tried everything, if Apple can't help you then no one can.

I went to a repair service and they found the problem:

(Yes, the camera works fine)

The LIDAR sensor is broken.

How to test it: Download any (free) LIDAR app from Appstore and test your LIDAR sensor. Mine is not working anymore.

My phone is out of warranty, so it goes to trash now.

Mine too. I reset it three times. Log in issues across all apps. Restarted. Everything. Reset it, and every site will have issues. The worst phone yet, and THE worst upgrade ever! Forget AI! Make a phone that works! Bad laptop release too. Forcing iCloud on your users!!!!!!!! Making your devices not work together without the cloud. The Apple is rotten. Maybe for the first time they should listen to their customers! Their stuff costs a fortune and their customers don’t matter.

Had the same issue after iOS upgraded to 17.3.1. Struggled for a while, but then iOS update 17.4 came out so I upgraded to that level, and FaceID started to work again on my iPhone 12.
