Trouble setting up my att.net account on my iPhone 12

My att.com mail account is about 25 years old and has never given me any problems until recently. The account has been working on my iPhone 12, my iPad 3 and a Dell desktop. About a week ago the Dell updated and, since then I have not been able to get the mail account to work on my phone yet it still works fine on my iPad.

Add your personal email accounts so you can read and send email on your device.

  1. From the home screen, select the. Mail app.
  2. Select the desired email provider. ... 
  3. Enter your email address, then select Next. ... 
  4. Set the desired account sync options, then select Save.
  5. Your email is now set up in the Mail app.

  1. Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
  2. If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
    1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
    2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you



You may have enabled two step verification on AT&T. Go to your preferred email app, replace the existing password with your secure mail key. For an IMAP account, delete the existing password --> Create a Secure Mail Key - AT&T Email Customer Support
