iPhone 15 Pro Max issues with Jeep UConnect

I haven't seen this exact issue described, and Jeep insists the radio is up to date and all firmware is current - and that it must be the phone. I'm not so sure as I had an Android phone previously and there were issues, just not to the extent I have them with the iPhone.

So it all seems to be related to the bluetooth connection - although occasionally the radio freezes and needs to be hard reset. A large majority of the issues I have are related to voice texting and calls. When I get in the car, the first few attempts at speaking through Siri work fine and then it stops. The radio shuts off to allow me to speak, but the phone/radio doesn't pick up my voice. Even after I stop talking, the radio remains off in "receive" mode (for lack of a better description). THe volume knob makes no difference, and eventually the radio either restarts itself of freezes completely and needs to be hard reset (holding both buttons down for 15-20 seconds until the radio resets). I also have issues where when making or receiving a call, there is no sound - I'll go to speaker on the phone, and after a few minutes, it transfers back to the car radio and operates normally.

These issues happen EVERY time I get in the car. Jeep claims they can't replicate it, and when I showed them the issue, they recommended unpairing and re-pairing the phone. That works for a few minutes, and then it's back to the same.

Anyone else have this issue and eventually discover a fix for it?
