I keep getting this response when trying to update the Apple Apps. "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the App Store."

I just updated to the latest MacOS. But as I tried to update the Apple Apps, like Keynote and Pages, The App Store takes my password, but then it give me this message, "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the App Store. Then if asks me to click review and then it says "We’ve run into a problem. Please try again later." It's an endless cycle. I can login to iCloud.com on Safari, but not on the App Store. It's SO Annoying and takes up so much time!

Can anyone help?

This Apple ID has not yet been used with the App Store -

On a Mac;

Open the System Settings app (in the Apple menu)

Chose your Apple ID

Choose Payment & Shipping

Add a payment method to your account details


On an iOS device;

Open the Settings app

Chose your Apple ID

Choose Payment & Shipping

Add a payment method to your account details


M1 Mac mini, macOS 14.3.1;  Watch, series 7 GPS/cellular, watchOS 10.3.1; iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 17.3.1; TV 4th Gen, tvOS 17.3; HomePods, audioOS 17.3 and Airport Express w/ Airplay 2
