sometimes when I walk it records my steps but exercise ring doesn’t move. Am I not walking fast enough? I am 75 with a new hip. Can’t go any faster

If it doesn’t recognize a deviation from your usual walking speed it may not know your steps are you walking for exercise versus just you walking around. In that case you may do better to manually start the workout by selecting either Outdoor Walk or Indoor Walk in the workout app.

Thanks for your reply! I do set it for an indoor walk and steps count but exercise ring does not move even though I am walking faster than my normal walk. Guess I just can’t walk fast enough at my age. Disappointing.
