iPhone 15 Pro Max Face ID not working!!

Hi,

So I’ve had my 15 PM for about 2 weeks now and not happily so.. I’ve had a case running with apple for the entire time about the issue that I’ve had with Face ID since day 1!

So it’s a random hit or miss, that doesn’t even work like 50% of the times or even worse, sometimes doesn’t even recognise my face!

I've tried:

Resetting Face ID

Setting up alternate appearance

Force Reboot

Factory Reset!

Forced a software update after I took it to an apple care centre

They even ran diagnostics and said there’s no hardware issue being detected!

So the e-retailer that I purchased from has a policy of return only where they take it only if the product is physically damaged, which it isn’t, so I’m at the mercy of apple to solve my issue.

I've had a support case with them for the whole time I’ve had this device and it’s since been escalated to the senior developers, so they say, and they’ve had it for a good number of days with no solution whatsoever!!

imagine waking up and your phone just wouldn’t recognise your mug at all! Not an ideal way to start off your day right?

Has anybody else faced this issue with the 15 pro max? They said they can’t replace the device till they’ve isolated the issue, for which they’re taking their jolly good time! What do I even do at this point?

I’m also not a first time iPhone user and I know how Face ID usually works. There’s no smudges or obstructions blocking the true depth camera and I’m not using any tempered glass on my phone.
