when blocked, do messages show up blue or green?

I was just wondering. The phone im sending messages on is an iPhone 8 and the iOS version says 16.7.4.

They show up blue but instead of you seeing underneath it "delivered" it won't have any words

How to determine if you're blocked by a recipient on iPhone? My messages show delivered. Is this an assurance that the recipient actually got my message? How can i tell if im blocked?
