iPad and Windows computer do not recognise eachother

Greetings. My iPad refused to boot around November 2023 as far as I remember. Since then, it has displayed the Apple logo for a few minutes, shut off, and repeated the process. I am trying to fix this via iTunes, and the farthest I have gotten is the computer plug-in screen. After that, neither my computer nor my iPad recognise eachother (as in, iTunes does not display the device and Windows did not pop up a notification that there was a device connected.)

Specs:

iPad Air 4th or 5th generation

(It has been a while since I used the iPad so my knowledge may be shaky)

HP Laptop 15-fd0xxx running Windows 11 Home

iPad Air (5th generation)

Hello! I appreciate and thank your attempt to solve my situation, however I am unable to fix my iPad. I am able to boot into recovery mode, but no iPad icon shows up on iTunes on either of my laptops and they are not recognised by my computers at all. (The other laptop being a HP laptop 15-dw2xxx running Windows 10 Home.)

Ensure that your Windows PC has the most recent version of iTunes for Windows installed:

Download and use iTunes for Windows – Apple Support

Update to the latest version of iTunes – Apple Support

If you iPad is not recognised when connected to your computer, try using a different USB port; if your computer has both USB-C and USB Type-A ports, try using the USB Type-A port of the computer.
