Reset iPhone without the Apple ID

my cousin bought an iPhone 6 from a market and we found out it still had the old owners Apple ID on it, so we asked her to put the password in and reset the iPhone but instead restarted it. Is there any other way to get the Apple ID off cause it keeps asking for the password.

if i already signed and its saying iphone locked to owner how can i rset the phone to where i can just put in a apple id So I reset my phone to the beginning and it says iPhone locked to owner its y mom's old phoen and she doesn't know the password and stuff and I cant fix it I have a current Apple ID but it says i have to put the old one

Nope, there is no way. The original owner needs to provide the password to remove their Apple ID. The phone will always be locked to the Apple ID that is signed into the phone.
