Clearing browser history

I'm using Safari as my browser and trying to clear the browser history. The menu bar has History as an option. Then I see Clear History within that option but it is greyed out. Anyone know how to clear Caches/History on Safari on a MacBook Pro?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.7

Check  > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > Content Restrictions > Access to Web Content. This should be set to Unrestricted.

For clearing Website Data, you can go to Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.

For clearing Caches, make your you have the Develop Menu item in the menu bar. If you do not, you can go to Safari > Settings > Advanced > Show features for web developers. With that checked you will see the Develop menu in the menu bar. You can then use that Develop menu and go to Empty Caches.
