I can’t delete my Safari history on my Mac

I wanted to delete my browsing data on my MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.7.1. When I went to delete it, the Clear Data button was grayed out. I’ve tried starting my Mac in safe mode, but it still wouldn’t let me.

I have also tried it on another user account, and it would let me delete the browsing history.

If you have Screen Time that limits Web Content, then the browsing History cannot be cleared.

Go to  > System Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy > Content Restrictions > Web Content, and makes sure it is set to Unrestricted Access.
