M1 Macbook Air. Sonoma 14.3.1. An immovable "backlighting"icon has appeared in the centre of my screen and sticks itself in front of any program I am using or reading. I have read a thread from 2021, but it doesn't look like any of the solutions cracked it. Any advice gratefully received. It makes it almost unusable.

Problem solved! It's the Logitec + software, in case it happens to anyone else. I blamed the monitor, then I blamed the Mac, and finally found it was the keyboard notifications. I simply turned backlighting off and on again.

It seems to be connected to my Logitec keyboard, depending on which of three channels I'm using.
Backlighting notification won't go away / stuck
