Adding Reading List icon, reading glasses, to Tool Bar on MacBook Pro

I lost my icon of the reading glasses, The Reading List, on my MacBook Pro. How can I get that icon back on my toolbar

I no longer have my usual reading list on the left side of my Mac desktop I no longer have my usual reading list on the left side of my Mac (version 11.7.1 & Safari version 16.1) desktop, where everything used to be in the book icon. Now, I find it on, what I think is called, my 'Home' page, that includes Favorites, Frequently Visited, Privacy Report then Reading list. How do I permanently remove app icons from bar at the top of my mac screen? I have deleted malware bytes app but the 'M' icon is still at the top. I followed the instructions provided elsewhere in this forum and it worked (via utilities) but next time I turned on it was back. I have repeated the instruction but don't really want to do this every day. Any further suggestions would be welcome. I am on Big Sur OS.

MacBookAir 2022 M2 How do I view all of my open apps arranged on my screen? My old MacBookAir had an icon at the bottom that popped up all of my open apps so I could easily see what I had open. My new MacBookAir doesn't have this icon. The guy at the Apple Store had to go ask someone and there is a workaround--command or function key and something else.

Not sure I get it..Is this the Safari.app browser you are asking about(?)

Safari>View> makes some changes

Don't see the icon ? View—>Customize Toolbar
