How to stop Safari from giving summary before website opens

When I type in a website name/address, Safari first displays a summary of the website before the opening page of the full website. How do I stop the website SUMMARY from appearing. I am using an iPhone 13.

iPhone 13, iOS 17

Mac Jim D: THANK YOU! Your suggestion re my problem with summaries appearing before full websites or the full websites not appearing at all worked! As you suggested it would, I went to:

Settings>Safari>Reader>OFF

and it worked instantly!

Thank you!

Is it possible that you have the Reader option turned on at Settings > Safari > Reader? This will show the page in a format better for reading, but also allows to view the page as intended. This assumes you are seeing this on an iPhone. There is a setting for it on the Mac, but it is in a different place.

Are you able to provide a screenshot if that is not it?

No extensions or content blockers on Safari. No VPN used and no change in Antivirus software since I've had the iphone (about 4 years and maybe more). i don't recall making any changes on the phone. I'm wondering if Apple did an"update" overnight. if so, i wish they would have sent a notice about it. It's darned annoying and totally useless but very annoying.
