My Face ID stop working after my phone fell into water

My Face ID stop working after my phone fell into water I try to rebuild it but didn’t work it was telling me A problem was detected with the TrueDepth camera. Face ID has been disabled.

iPhone XR, iOS 17

iPhone and water are not good friends. Your phone has been damaged by water and Apple won't try to fix a water damaged phone. Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar, but be prepared to purchase a replacement phone.
