Mac Studio AirDrop Issue

I have a Mac Studio 2023. I can AirDrop from the computer to any device nearby, but I can't AirDrop to the computer from my iPhone or any other device.

I have disabled Apple Firewall.

I have AirDrop set to 'Everyone.'

I have toggled wifi and bluetooth off and on dozens of times.

I've rebooted both the computer and my iPhone numerous times.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My Mac isn't discoverable via AirDrop Hi. I have a 2017 MacBook Pro running Big Sur Version 11.4 Other devices cannot discover it via AirDrop. TheMacBook can see other devices, but they cannot see it. I have tried several iPhones and iPads, including recent devices (for example iPhone 11) running the latest iOS. On the MacBook, my AirDrop settings are "Allow me to be discovered by: Everyone". My firewall is off. I have tried toggling the wifi and bluetooth on and off. MacBook can send airdrop but not receive from any device. I can airdrop stuff from my MacBook to several iPhones. however, when trying to airdrop to my MacBook, it gets stuck on waiting. I've made sure that the bluetooth is on, the firewall settings are right, set to receive from anyone... I even started in safe mode and it still didn't work. I don't understand why. I read that I should reinstall Mac OS. but I don't want to have to reinstall Mac OS and lose everything and have to start over with basically a brand new machine. what can I check or do to try to get it to receive airdrops? because this is ridiculous.

2017 MBP and iPhone SE can't discover each other in airdrop I can no longer airdrop between my MBP (2017 13" touchbar, Catalina 10.15.2, all apps up to date) and iPhone SE. I can airdrop in either direction between another MBP (2017 15", still on 10.15.1) and the phone, so it seems like the issue is with the laptop. Airdrop was working a couple of weeks ago, when the MBP was running Mojave. "Can't airdrop" means when I try to share, the airdrop window does not show any destination devices. I have tried with airdrop set to 'anyone' on both ends, and to 'contacts only' I have the MBP firewall turned off in system prefs -> privacy -> firewall I have restarted both devices, including booting the MBP in safe mode and then in normal mode. I have turned bluetooth and wifi off on both devices, then back on. What else can I do? Is there another permission setting needed in 10.15.2?
