I have Apple TV on my LG Smart TV and can't watch new movies.

Is the app on your smart TV named “Apple TV app” or “Apple TV+ app”?

The first has a Store and Library, while the latter does not.

Can you see the movie listed that you want to watch in the Apple TV app?

Does it show a Play button or Buy button or Rent button?

Does it show a link to a third party subscription service (in-app channel)?

Do you get the ‘Loading’ spinner symbol?

What movie did you try to watch? Maybe it is still pre-order status (not released yet for streaming).

Having an Apple TV+ subscription has no influence on getting access to a movie like John Wick 4. It is not part of the subscription catalog. That movie will be for Buy or Rent from the iTunes Store.
