Touch screen not responding after iOS 17.4 update

Has anyone had this problem? I can see the screen that says Hello in multiple languages but I’m unable to swipe up. I can’t even turn the phone off. I can get to the power down screen, but none of the options respond to touch (I.e. swipe to power off). Does anyone know a fix? Thx

Said “update complete” but when I went to pick it up, the touchscreen wouldn’t work (working fine before). I found the answer online. I did a force restart and it works now.
