FCPX 10.7.1 fails during export/Share

Did you give it enough time? Did you see a notification that the export was done?

Try pressing Command-9 while the export is going on. This will give you a progress indicator.

A 3 hour movie can take a while to export, depending on mac, drive and what content and effects it involves.

I only see the above files, no .mp4 file in the export folder. I tried coping to a new timeline, Created Compound Clip, and deleted "Optical Flow" and "Stabilization". The project is 4K and a little over 3 hrs.

When you see that error the process is stopped and the file is not completed.

If there odd a frame number you should find that frame in the timeline and see what’s happening there. You might have to cut around it.

It’s also a good idea to delete any generated render files and switch off background rendering. There may be corrupted files in the renders.

Delete FCP preferences, and try again.

If the problem persists, please post the Etrecheck report, as Tom requested.

The export wasn’t completed. Did you try removing any render files?

Please post an EtreCheck report https://etrecheck.com giving the application Full Disk Access in Privacy & Security System Settings. Copy the report and use the Add Text button to paste the result into reply box.

This display indicates that the export is in progress. This is not an error. I think the export was just not completed, but how many minutes did you wait?

How exactly did you export? What steps and what settings? Are you sure the export was completely? It might take a long time depending on the size of the project.
