You don’t need to do anything, as nothing here has changed, other than your knowledge that your Wi-Fi router is older or is configured with older and less-secure security settings.
You can also either update the Wi-Fi router security to WPA2 AES or later (if that’s supported), or can replace the Wi-Fi router with a model with newer support.
How to reconfigure is specific to the particular Wi-Fi router vendor and model you’re using, and usually involves reading the documentation.
The vendor might also have a FAQ for updating the settings on various of their models, as this Apple message has been around for a while.
If your ISP provided and configured the Wi-Fi router, you can contact them and ask, too.
You’ll probably want to check for a Wi-Fi router firmware update, too.
If you want us to help with har, post the vendor and model. Do not post the serial number, password, MAC address, or other details that can be included on the manufacturer’s sticker. Vendor and model only.
You can also choose to ignore this message, of course. Things will continue to work as they have.

Contact the manufacturer of your router for a user manual.
If your router was supplied by your ISP, contact them.
