Starbucks cards in apple wallet not working

Your Starbucks advisors are misleading you. You can’t take funds of a gift card and add them to something Apple controls. You can’t transfer funds from a gift card one company owns (Starbucks) and transfer it to an Apple ID Account or Apple Cash. Federal banking regulations do not permit this. It would be a form of money laundering.

If Starbucks transferred funds, they are responsible for the funds until they are received. When funds are received, a return receipt is issued, proving to the sender funds are received. But again, Starbucks has nowhere to transfer the funds to that Apple controls.

This is the preverbal runaround. Starbucks isn’t owning up to their mistake and they just hope that you give up and don’t pursue it.

Not really following. Your Starbucks card can be added to your wallet through the app. There is no way to export the card to the wallet in such a way that it is not in the Starbucks App.

Did you ever get your funds back? I have the same issue - I have been trying to get my starbucks card with $80 on it in my applepay to work for the last 2 years -Starbucks says it's no longer there. But I never used it because I rarely go to Starbucks. It was a $100 gift card that I only used a few times. Such a scam. I want my money back.

I did add my starbucks giftcard to my applewallet - like a credit card. I started out with $100. Used it a few times and had a $78 balance...and then the pandemic hit. When I tried to use it again 2 years later...starbucks says the funds are not there but it still shows $78 is my applewallet strabucks card. Something weird is going on. I can't be the only one this is happening to. And correct, Apple can't help. I called them. It's Starbucks issue and I keep getting circled aorund.

That's an issue for Starbucks, not Apple.
