I am working on the March 20, 2024 crossword puzzle (large not the mini), and when I enter the last letter to finish the puzzle, it crashes the News app. This happens on iOS and MacOS for today.

Same here. It isn’t that the March 20 puzzle crashes when finished correctly, it is that any puzzle I started on March 20 crashes when completed successfully. I started 3 puzzles from December on March 20 and all 3 of them also crash if completed successfully.
Try now. I just went back in and it looks like my puzzle was reverted to an earlier state (I had to re solve a number of clues I alway solved) but it let me finish without crashing.
Same here. It’s only a problem with the 3/20 puzzle, the 3/21 crossword finishes just fine.

Same, I’m on my phone. Hopefully they can fix it so we don’t just one sad unfinished puzzle in our list.
Wow! I'm sorry you all are having the same problem, but at least now I know I'm not the only one. I hope they fix this.
