iPad Air 5 battery is drowning fast when Logitech combo touch is connected

I have my air 5 and recently bought a combo touch for it. All of a sudden I am noticing absurd battery draining while to Logitech combo touch is connected to the iPad - otherwise the battery life seems fine.

Anyone have any clue or suggestion to get rid of this?

My all battery life extenders are active, from turning off location, tracking, background app refresh to sometimes low power mode - but nothing seems to help me when the keyboard is connected.

P.S. I previously used to have a iPad 10th gen and a Logitech Bluetooth based keyboard- never experienced such issue. Now I the combo touch is the Smart Connector based keyboard. Is it the issue?

Your Logitech keyboard may have a fault - leading to unexpected battery drain from the connected iPad.

If possible, try substituting a different Logitech Combo keyboard. If the problem is consistent when using a different keyboard, the issue lies with the iPad. If the problem is eliminated, the issue is with the keyboard itself.

An alternative substitution would be the iPad - perhaps of a friend. If the problem is repeatable with a different iPad, again suspect the keyboard to be faulty.
