MacBook Pro from sleeping when the lid is closed and the AC adapter is plugged

Hi, previously my mac stayed on when plugged into power but now it doesn't it just goes off. My power comes from a dell docking station which has all my laptop accessories plugged into it.

Any idea how I can resolve this issue

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.6

Try connecting the Apple power adapter directly to the laptop to see how that works. Also, disconnect all other external devices in case they are causing a problem. Adapters, hubs, docks may not always allow the full power of a charger make it to the laptop.

Try running the Apple Diagnostics to see if any hardware issues are detected.

Run the third party app EtreCheck and post the complete report here so we can examine it for possible clues. The report will also provide us with the exact model of the laptop and the battery condition along with other possibly useful information including summaries of system logs.
