Cisco AnyConnect 5.1.2. .pgk installer generates Pagecontroller error -1

Macbook pro 13 inch 2017, Core i5

MacOS Ventura 13.6.6.

Cannot install the Cisco AnyConnect 5.1.2.42.pkg because of the pagecontroller error -1. There's no additional information on the Cisco website and I've seen some other apple users have faced similar issues.

How to fix?

Can't update iOS to Ventura - other software malfunctioning Hello, I'm really between a rock and a hard place here. When trying to install the update automatically it will say "an error occurred during install". It then states to check my internet connection, which is stable and strong. I have enough disk space and my machine is a Macbook Air 2021, thus everything should work. I've run several malware and antivirus software and nothing has been detected. When trying to install the update from the terminal I get: The operation couldn’t be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.) At the same time, a couple programs have stoped working fully. Skype and Chrome. Which I desperately need for work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

macOS High Sierra updates (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012) Whenever I check for updates on macOS High Sierra, i get the error saying “An error has occurred The operation couldn't be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.)”. I tried clearing caches, signing out and signing back into App Store, restarting the device, but nothing seemed to work.

Cisco AnyConnect was renamed to Cisco Secure Client in 2023. The version currently in the Mac App Store is v5.0.05207, last updated 3mo ago, and explicitly states it is for iPad or iOS, and not verified for macOS.

Check with Cisco Support to confirm that the newer version you have is for macOS Ventura or later and ask about that package problem. You may need a corporate account and IT contact to get at Cisco support.
