Macbook Pro 2000 will not differentiate Office monitors from home monitor.

I use a Macbook pro M1 2000 (  Model Identifier: MacBookPro17,1 Model Number: MYD82LL/A)

At home and at the office, I use the same external monitor model. The setup at various stations at work means I use the laptop below the monitor, but at home I have a keyboard and a laptop stand on the left.

Whenever I move from home to the office (or vice versa) I need to adjust the screen arrangement because the computer cannot tell two different monitors from one another.

This seems to be a limitation of the M1 GPU as older Macs with Intel or AMD GPUs can re-arrange my displays with no issues as well as both Windows PCs that I have tried. (One with Nvidia and the other Intel)
