I’ve just upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro to an iPhone 15 pro and my WhatsApp recent chats widget is missing from the section where you swipe all the way to the right. It used to be in the customise list but it’s not there. Any idea how to get it back? I restored my new phone from my old one and it copied everything else over except this. I use this widget all the time due to so many muted group WhatsApp chats. Help (screenshot from my old phone)
I just noticed this and it really frustrates me. It looks like an update issue with Apple iphone. Are they cutting out competitor messaging apps?
No, that's an issue on WhatsApps side. I can't fathom how you would think Apple is doing this against the "competitor" as you say.
Did they say if it would return in the future?

No, Apple doesn't own WhatApp and therefore has no control over what Meta does with their software.
Hu me too i have the same issue it happened suddenly without restarting my iPhone or anything. Very frustrating the widget is very convenient.
Then complain to Meta, this has nothing to do with Apple.
Any update guys? it’s bn a week now, both my WA business and WA normal’s widget is missing after the update. I was very much addicted to using WA from the widget.

I have read news in which WhatsApp has been deleted from china App Store market. Mabe that is the reason. But I am facing no 3rd party widget available.
