importing photos WITH added info

when importing my photos from iphone to mac, the comments/infos/titles I added on the phone (lots of plant identification info) are not included - which is really annoying. where can I change this? thank you!

PS: the same goes for albums - how can I import the albums I created on the Iphone into the photo app on the mac...?

The easiest way to get all photos with the captions and adjustments applied together with the albums and folders to your Mac would be iCloud Photos. iCloud Photos will keep the Photos Library on the iPhone and the Mac in sync, so the any change you do to your photos on any device will be synced to the photos on your other synced devices.

If you do not want all photos from your Mac on the iPhone, use a second, small Photos library just for syncing your devices with iCloud Photos.
