Apple ID verification pop up but the email stated is not mine?
I cant find the email address in any of my settings. Have I been hacked?? I have only ever had my own email linked with my icloud, no one elses.

Same thing happened with me too and an ex boyfriend’s email. I am kind of nervous to even write on here because he does try and get ahold of me to this day. Could it possibly do something to do with the update?
me too! the email i got was adk******@gmail.com then when i copied and pasted it to log in it came up with a number that ends with 63 really wondering what this is, as this has just caused so much problems
Happened to me just this morning as well, and both of the emails were from a distant ex boyfriend…I was convinced my phone was being hacked out of revenge or something, but I feel a lot better finding this thread
Eesh, creepy! I updated my phone a week or so ago, so I feel like it’s weird that this would be happening such a while afterwards (if it were to be associated with the update). But I was paranoid as heck, so I changed my apple password immediately!
Just happened this morning. The pop-up was on my screen when I awoke my iPad. The e-mail address was an unknown address @ hotmail.com. I shut-down the iPad before anything else. The iPad rebooted itself, which was a tad peculiar, but the pop-up is gone. My Apple ID appears unaffected.
As stated before this is likely to be for an App or song purchase on somebodies else’s account or downloaded via another means and to access this app or music it now requires you to enter the original accounts details to use it ideally need to find out which one it is and delete it from your play list or apps. Is there a way to stop the pop ups whilst I find it?
