I expect so - I don't see many folks out here complaining about judder while watching via the Apple TV 4K hardware.

The audio/video processing power and capabilities of the Apple TV 4K device are superior to the video processing capabilities of most TVs and AVR/Soundbar hardware. Apple's default approach is to determine the best video format that your TV can accept, allow you to calibrate your TV/Monitor in that mode, and henceforth convert/transcode all the video content you watch into your TV's best display format.

In general, asking your TV to also process the video that the ATV4K has already processed does not make things better. You want your TV to behave as very high-end monitor to display the ATV4K's best output without messing with it. So TURN OFF all of your TV's built-in "TruMotion" and other video processing features. You DO want to enable your TV's most advanced display mode, and make sure that the HDMI port the ATV4K is connected to is fully-enabled for "enhanced deep color" or whatever.

Of course, if you have a fancy AVR or soundbar in between your ATV4K and TV, you want it to passthrough all video "as is". Some AVRs brag about their video upsampling, etc. That's cool for a 20-year-old DVD player, but such things should be OFF for the ATV4K device.

Sadly, Apple does not provide nerdy power-users with options and controls over its video processing or stats about what's going on as video plays (although some of the apps do). In general, Apple's engineers are probably right to apply their best video processing science and not provide users with the means to mess it up. At this point, you'll have to decide if you prefer the look of the ATV4K's video playback vs. the same content played via your TV's WebOS apps (with your C3's video processing defaults restored, to be fair).
