I want to reset an old iPhone will it delete my iCloud storage and back up?

About resetting old phone I have an old XS max iphone. I currently haven't used it for some time. I have a new iphone 12 which I have backed up. I want to erase the iphone XS to factory settings. I get a message that says DOcuments & Data are being uploaded to icloud. If you erase now you will lose doucments and date that are being uploaded to icloud My question if I erase now I am of the belief that my data that I have back up on my new iphone wont' be erased

reset iphone without losing icloud data I would like to reset my iphone 7 plus and then reinstall the Apps and the data from icloud. The reason of doing this is because the memory is full and my iphone is slow. I would like to have recommendations. Just want to make sure I can do this without losing when resetting the phone.

Iphone Master Reset I want to erase all the data from my old iphone in order to sell it. How to perform Factory reset? And if I do the factory reset does it affect my iCloud data? I want to reset my iPhone without losing iCloud data.

The act of merely resetting an iPhone has no effect on iCloud. Of course, additional things you may do may well affect iCloud.
