Problem with “Account Errors” in Mail app
When I go to the Mail app, the bottom of the screen immediately says
“Checking for Mail…”
like normal but after a few seconds it changes to
“Updated Just Now
Account Error Details…”
so I click the blue highlighted word “details…” and it says
“multiple account errors” in bold.
Then it says “the following accounts have errors [continues to list 3 of the emails connected to my Mail app]. Please select the individual accounts to see any more information”
I go to my individual account and click the same account error on the bottom of the screen, underneath where it says “updated just now.” This leads me to a message saying
”Cannot get Mail
No password provided for [redacted] Please go to mail Account Settings and enter a password”
i click settings and im unable to press any of my emails to confirm their password or edit any settings. As you know, options in settings are usually (in dark mode) highlighted with white letters against dark background. My emails are gray against a dark background and I’m unable to click any of them.
So all this to say( lol I’m autistic I Iove details) that I can’t access my emails in order to retype my password. I think it’s for security but I can’t do anything and I’m sure I’m not receiving emails because of the account error. I’ve attached necessary pictures
