How can I connect my iPhone 15 to my 2016 Mini Cooper?

But it's a lightning cord so it won't work with my iphone 15. And the mini is a 2016, so no carplay. It was great because it allowed accessing music through the dashboard, instead of the phone. It also displayed the art attached to each song as it played. And not album covers, but photos of the artists that I had archived. And, yes, the phone is bluetoothed to the car but that also requires accessing the music through the phone, which is not so great while driving. Any suggestions appreciated.
