Background app refresh

My background app refresh is grey. Can’t do anything with it.

tried everything nothing seems to work.

iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 17

Go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/Background App Activity and set it to Allow.

Thank you for helping. But it’s not changed anything :-( I already had it set on allow. Turned everything off and left it started my phone up again. No change. Still a

grey screen and no access to it.
