Subscription to LinkedIn Premium through Apple locks features for good
I subscribed to LinkedIn Premium not knowing that it went through Apple. Consequently, some LinkedIn premium features, like AI-enabled CV generation was locked for me. Every time I tried, it said you have to upgrade your subscription to be able to use this feature. When I tried to upgrade, it said it's not possible because your LinkedIn subscription is through Apple.
LinkedIn customer service told me to cancel my LinkedIn subscription and try to subscribe back through LinkedIn website again. So after some hesitation, I finally cancelled my subscription on May 6th.
Now, when I try to find a way to subscribe to LinkedIn again, it only gives my the option to reactivate my subscription. This means, because I once became a LinkedIn premium subscriber through Apple iPhone, I'm doomed to be an Apple-LinkedIn subscriber for life.
I want Apple to pay all the money I've spent on a useless subscription back to me. I have to say that me and my family have been fans of Apple for over 10 years. We are all using iPhones, iPads, and Macbook Pro, because we have always believed in Apple products. But this time, I feel I've been fooled by Apple.
