Required to enable Touch ID

Hello, I am not able to activate my MacBook because password( which is correct) is not accepted. I have message “your password is required to enable Touch ID”, but I don't have access to setting and enable it.

Check to make sure you did not accidentally enable the Caps Lock causing the password to be incorrect.


Try using another external Keyboard just in case the main keyboard is not working correctly. You can even use a Windows keyboard.

FYI, when attaching pictures it is polite to make sure they are properly rotated. You can easily rotate the source picture on your iPhone/iPad by using the instructions in this article (I'm sure Android devices have a similar option):
