Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
On Alaska Airlines my husband is trying to use the Gogo inflight entertainment on his iPad. He gets an error that the connection is not private and that the website has an expired certificate. However, I don’t have any issues using the site on my iPad.
Are both devices running the same version of iPadOS? If not, the local Certificate (Trust) store versions may differ.
Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings > Trust Store Version
A further consideration is device management. Are either of you using a centrally managed device - such as a device owned/managed by an Enterprise or Educational establishment. If so, the device may have entirely difference TLS/SSL Certificates installed - which will significantly impact access to many online services.
Your Trust Store should automatically update along with iPadOS.
Assuming that neither device is centrally managed by a Business/Enterprise or Eduction establishment - and devices are running the most recent version of iOS/iPadOS - they should have the same Trust Store version.
Looks like my Trust Store Version is a few months older. Is there a way to change his version?
