logging on to Apple tv on my Mac

I can't seem to log into apple tv - I have my google accouont open, have put in passwords but it wont play any programmes - yesterday ok. today not. any ideas??

The Apple TV app on Mac should be signed in to with your Apple ID account. Not sure why you mention a Google account. The app should also remember from last time, so that you don’t have to sign in each time. (If you use web access through tv.apple.com, then you will need to sign in for each session.)


What is the model and year of your Mac? Identify the model of your Apple device - Apple Support

What is its version system software? Find out which macOS your Mac is using - Apple Support

What happens instead, when you can’t log in? Do you get an error message? What does it say exactly?
