No matter how many times I delete U2's Songs of Innocence from my iTunes, it keeps re-downloading. I despise U2 and being forced by Apple to have this is annoying as anything. Is there a way to permanently remove this garbage?

That was gifted to users 10 years ago and for 6 years after the release Apple provided a web tool that would remove it from your account. Four years ago they quit offering the user method of removal, probably because they thought that any user who did not want it have long since removed it. Now you just need to contact Apple and they can do it for you.
