apple watch I can’t set up my Apple Watch to my iPhone 13 mini because it says this watch requires a software update. When I try to install the update to my watch from my iPhone a window pops up and says this update can’t be verified because you aren’t connected to Wi-Fi. How can I update my Apple Watch if it won't connect to the internet or has low battery? i try to install the new update on my apple watch And it was telling me that they have to be connected to the internet or I have at least 50 percent battery. I decided to disconnect from my phone and reconnect it does all the steps normally but still won't let me do the new update to use my watch [Edited by Moderator]

See the 'Get ready to update' section in:

Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support

The third step says "Make sure that your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi." so the short answer to your question is no.
