Black screen on an iPhone 13 Pro

I was playing music and charging my iPhone 13 Pro. When I went to pick up the phone to see a message the screen suddenly turned black. The music was still playing and the volume could be changed with the iPhone buttons but the screen did not work. When I disconnected and then connected the charger, the sound and vibration occurred. I tried to force restart but no Apple logo appeared. I connected the phone to my computer and managed to get it to recovery mode and updated the phone. The screen would still not respond and now the charging sound is also gone. Also, when I now try to go into recovery mode again, the phone appears on Finder but there seems to be nothing there. I also cannot update or restore. I can see from my Apple watch that the phone is on because it is connected. Has anyone else had a similar problem and is it possible to fix it?

I had the same issue yesterday morning on my iPhone 13Pro (5/31/24). Screen was black when I woke up. My battery is never dead in the morning, so I doubt it was a battery issue. I put the phone on the charger and the screen stayed black several hours. I know my phone was on/working because I could adjust the volume, heard beeping and had vibrations. I pushed the volume buttons, tried the restart button, and replugged in the charger several times. Also, my Apple Watch showed my phone data so I know it was communicating with the phone. Plus Siri worked! My husband did a test phone call to my phone. I answered on my watch and when we hung up, my phone screen came back to life! Phone is working fine now.
