how to disable stolen device protection


how to disable protection for a stolen device?

my 14 pro crashed and its face id stopped working

I wanted to give it to a friend but I can’t log out of icloud without face id. The iphone does not offer anything other than going through the face ID. Help

Specifically:


If you're using iCloud and Find My [device] on the device, sign in to iCloud.com/find or the Find My app on another device, select the device, and click Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account.
