Apple Pay Dual Network Debit Not Working

Tried tapping on to the bus this morning with my phone like usual however my apple pay debit card is stuck on my cheque account and won’t give me the option to switch to and from my cheque account to mastercard/ visa. (Luckily had my physical card with me too)

Haven’t had any issues with the dual network debit card and all funds are sufficient in the bank account.

  • I noticed my phone automatically updated to the new ios.
  • Tried turning the phone off and on again.
  • Checked both accounts are still connected to the wallet

Unsure who to contact/ how to fix the problem.

Could anyone provide any other solution?/ Is there a bug correlation to the new update?

This is an Apple issue. Happened to me somewhere this morning. No updates to phone. Both device numbers are still showing in settings.

Removed and readded a card and it fixed it, but

For the watch the options to select account type have reappeared in settings but not on the watch (except the one I readded).

The eftpos network may have had an issue. The network might have been upgraded by the operating banks necessitating cards to be removed and added again to the Wallet. There’s another post from yesterday and it was noted that adding the card from Previous Cards failed, but adding new worked.

I’m glad the issue was quickly resolved and everyone seems to be back to normal.
